This season saw it’s shares of ups and downs. Highs and lows. Peaks and valleys. The arguments of what this season’s biggest surprise was are plenty. You could make a case for about four or five things. Just off the top of our heads: the emergence of Dez Bryant. Surprising? Kind of. It was expected of him, but he finally stepped up to the plate this year. What about the injuries? We feel like every week there were one or two guys going down. It was ridiculous. And the biggest surprise off the field was the tragedy of losing Jerry Brown and the arrest of Josh Brent. That one caught us, and everyone, off guard. Our vote for biggest surprise goes to the LB corps this year. Ware was a known elite player. Spencer always showed flashes of greatness and he had a career year. But Sean Lee and Bruce Carter? Wow. Those guys were both 2nd round picks and will be key pieces in 2013 and moving to the 4-3. It’s a shame we lose Lee to injury so early, but we’re really looking forward to having these guys on the defensive side of the ball for the next few years.
What say you? What was the biggest surprise of the 2012 season for you?

Thought we would be in the playoffs for sure, and we didn’t make it again, but so many many injuries and no depth…we didn’t have any extras to feel spots…It really put Cowboys in a bad position. They need more WR, and RB, and OL and DL…to protect ROMO.
